Day 46 - Calf Issues

Waking Up...

To some major lower leg tightness today.

It's not quite as bad as yesterday, but it definitely isn't back to normal.

The first step out of bed isn't a good sign as my ankle isn't wanting to get into any type of dorsiflexion.

I get out of bed and work through some warm-up and stretches until I get it to the point of okayness.

That's the best way I can explain it today.

Early morning game today, then I will get a training session in this afternoon at the local YMCA.

After trying to move around as much as possible at work, I head to the gym and hit some back & bicep work as one of my colleagues swims.

Her swim is taking a bit, I believe she has 3km today, so after I finish a back and bi session I decide to get some leg work in.

It's fortuitous for my calf that we have a YMCA available because after a quick round of squats (worked up to 315 for a triple) I decide not to risk the lower leg further and just get to extensions and curls.

I blast away for a bit until my legs feel fully exhausted, then meet back at the car.

The leg feels a little better today, but still have some lack of movement.

Felt good to still get in some work though...
